Very friendly S. told me today, that my motto is from Oscar Wilde. Ruth Rendell didn't tell that in her book The Water's Lovely..., but though, this is so effective: "We're all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars."
Maybe R.Rendell didn't know that O.Wilde also said that. :-) That sentence is so true that she might have thought it as her own. "Great minds think alike"
